I just bought a pair of Thunders and have one feeding a Niagara 1000 power strip, and the other feeding the Dev 120 (without the lid).   It's a remarkable combo, even if it requires exposing the wires in back.  The way I have the Dev set on a shelf, I don't even see the exposed wires.    The Dev is plugged into the high current outlet of Niagara.

The increase in resolution and bass weight is stunning.  I can hear instruments and voices very clearly set in the soundstage.

Really a worthwhile upgrade.

I have the Tornado into the Niagara 5000 which is a truly great upgrade to my D440’s.  I emailed AQ to ask if they had considered building a Tornado with a smaller head size to use with DEVIALET and the response was interesting.
Was told me of a new series of NRG chords just released and it was suggested the NRG Z3 are very close to the Storm series.
Just installed two and agree completely.  The NRG Z3 is an amazing cable and the retail price is far more workable.
Highly recommended for DEVIALET owners.

Planning to use my 440 Pro with a Niagara 5000 - using Thunder High Current for Niagara and both Devialets. That should perform well? Anyone compared NRG Z3 with Thunder?

hat are your experiences in burn-in time of HC power cables (I am using two Thunder for Devialet mono amps). How long does it take and to what extend will it improve performance?

Thanks

For those who are interested, we can now order a « slimline » version of the Audioquest Storm serie which fit well under the hood of the expert line.

I just received mine, a Tornado

Interesting but can't see the 'slimline' storm series AC power cord at its official website. Any idea?
