Core Infinity board
@K4680:

Level isn‘t the same like variable sinus generator. Sinus generator is the premise for room correction, you need several frequencies for measuring and adjust in time reference caused by reflections. Have enough experience with Linn and Trinnov.

Let‘s be excited, what will come

They’ve first shown the ‘OS card’ which is now renamed to ‘Core Infinity’. We can actually see both versions in Vivids pictures above (thanks for sharing Vivid!) which both share the same version numer 1.01 and we can see they removed the internal WiFi/BT PCB antenna and the most interesting Audinate (Dante for AoIP?) IC and supporting circuitry in the lower right corner of the PCB. I’m afraid we’ll never know for sure why.

The IC is only missing on the display board though. The official photos on the Devialet site still show it installed.

What's the 3V battery for? How will it be replaced or will it be recharged via the board?

Maybe the 'complete' board goes in the Master while the other one is meant for Companion?

That could well be. I'm still struggling to come up with a valid reason for two streamer boards. Maybe you will be able to stream to both over Ethernet with the link cable being used only for a clock... Huh

Send your Pro back to Devialet Paris for replacment in 5 years time when it runs out  Tongue

Sorry being silly, Devialet Core Infinity page says "RTC Battery (keep the clock and calendar)", but does look silly putting in a $1 dollar battery that would need replaced when finished
