MAX207 / N26N / last 4 digits 4U11.

My Phantom Gold OdP runs cool (much cooler compared to my Bryston amp and Sim Audio integrated).

I wrote Devialet re: the chip but got a non-answer "We are not able to verify what chip your particular unit has by the SN".

Devialet did confirm the unit was manufactured in 2020 and that "Devialet introduced the Phantom 1 and II Matte version in February 2021".

Interesting @scotthar.  What are the last 4 digits of the serial number on those Golds?

@struts   the 2020 phantoms are , N07P000434U10 and N07P000534U10   They are described as 'Gold Phantom Glossy'

For some reason thought i had made a correlation that last bit is 'SKU'.
I was thinking in terms of color / trim / product but also probably defines some of the internals for that series.

Many thanks @djredeye @scotthar @LiRnCHO!  Your inputs give us a great start on trying to figure this out.  I am collating all the information in a Google Sheet.  As we are able to gather more data we might be able to figure out the points in time (i.e. week of manufacture) when key hardware revisions were brought to market.  I will open a separate thread to gather this info from the broader community, with enough datapoints I am hoping we will be able to figure this out.
