Thanks - That does help, I can always upgrade to Windows 10 Pro if no one has been able to get Windows 10 to work headless, and I do appreciate your testing the boot without a monitor or keyboard attached.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro on the NUC.  There is no physical connection of any sort to a monitor/TV.

If you are running the system headless and exclusively for music, you can always download the official Windows 10 Pro from the Microsoft website and simply install.  There is no need to purchase a Pro license unless the waterstamp that says "Not Activated" in the bottom right corner of the screen bothers you.  Functionality is unimpaired and is not reduced in any way.  This setup is completely legitimate.
Thanks again. Good tip on the Windows 10 Pro, its been so long I forgot about that option.
I am running Windows 10 Home.

And this is my little Roon corner:
This has happened to me a few times. After hearing to Sonos Connect on coaxial input, switching to AIR-ETH using RoonBridge, white noises occurred. I have to pause Roon, cycle through the sources using the Remote at least two rounds, only then AIR-ETH back to normal. Anyone else experiencing this?

This happens to me if I change source on my Devialet without pausing the play on Roon, but I only have to stop the play on Roon and hit play again after I selected ETH again.
I'm having very similar findings.

I'll report it to Devialet when I pin it down but it's definitely to do with changing inputs whilst playing.

Previous versions or air were fine with this ?

Still not had any white noise when just playing so definitely some progress with Air 3.
I mostly use the ETH input so no big problem, just have to remember to stop playing on Roon before changing input on the Devialet. My hope is that Devialet get support for Roon in the new streamerboard so the need for AIR goes away and Roon will control the playback and volume in the Devialet.
Hello Guys, I've been trying out the AIR 3 Beta for windows and I'm impressed with the improvement over USB (even with the Intona in series). I can accept the vinyl type pops as it seems that issue is resolved in the next increment of the software. My question is; I've been considering a Melco in place of my Nu Force MSR-1 music server (PC running Win 10 and J Rivers 22), I see that many contributors here have the Melco N1A but I'm not sure if I can use it with J Rivers - i.e. control with J Rivers, store music files on the Melco and connect via USB / ethernet to the Devialet. Can I still connect using AIR if I have the Melco (I think the answer might be NO).
If not, then I guess I've saved £1700 as the music sounds really quite good using AIR but I would appreciate the general advice of the forum.

Thanks,
Paul
