Dev Pro CI is getting worse in my case. It not only loses contact when switching between music with different sample rates, but also after 10, 15 minutes or after an arbitrary time. Only cycling the input ports re-establishes the connection. Very unpleasant.
I am using Audirvana for the moment and I have no problems. Very simple design but it works and the SQ is good. I can use my PRO with CI and my Phantoms very easy with UPnP. With Audirvana I can use Qobuz Sublime. My ROON license is ending on February. For the moment I would go with Audirvana for the future.

I would like to ask that is anyone able to get stable and completely trouble-free high res (like 24/192 kHz) streaming from Roon/AIR?
I'm unfortunately experiencing some issues like crackling noise when streaming high res from Roon/AIR (Ethernet). It doesn't seem to matter whether I'm listening to local 24/192 kHz files or upsampling 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz, there always comes some crackles every now and then. Any ideas how to make it work?

I have had zero issues with RoonAir over Wifi for months until latest Roon’s build 333/334. Now I have to use Ethernet to avoid crackles on DSD64/PCM176.4k/PCM192k.

I've used Roon/AIR a bit the last few months. Only wired, no problems all the way to 192kHz. I have no DSD material so I haven't tried that. Remember that AIR is still UDP so a lost packet is most likely audible. When RAAT is in place in Experts we'll have TCP transfer of data where re-transmission of packets is part of the protocol. No more dropouts (hopefully)

Are you sure of this? I thought it was 192kHz
