I can't quite tell based on the Netgear lights in your pic, but it sure looks like both lights are lit on each connection meaning you're running at gigabit speed.

So I'm totally out of ideas... why are some able to stream Roon RAAT to Expert Pro at gigabit speed and others not. Perhaps it is somehow related to the router or some router settings that aren't exposed in all routers. Still hoping Roon comes up with an answer (or Devialet a fix).

(this stuff can drive you crazy... what if the 250 doesn't exhibit the problem but other Expert Pros do?)

All Expert Pro CI have the same streaming hardware and O/S, so it can't be that.

The Netgear switch is 10/100
https://www.netgear.co.uk/business/produ...-techspecs

The Cisco switch is
8 x 10/100 PoE ports and 1 dual-purpose port (one 10/100/1000BASE-T copper port and one SFP module slot)
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/sw...560hig.pdf

So both the switches I used were connecting to the Devialet and Innuos via 10/100 ports.

Wait, the picture you posted was of the Netgear GS105 which, in theory can do gigabit speed (indicated as such if both lights are lit green on the ethernet plug in use). That link in your last post was to a FS105 with is only 10/100.

Hey, this stuff can drive you nuts.

Well it works. You can always get one on Amazon and if it doesnt work for you send it back.

I do have a gigabit switch - not the same one as your Netgear GS105, but similar.   I still get dropouts and the Roon error with it.   But if I use a 10/100 switch, all is good.   Go figure...  Huh

Was having this same issue occasionally but re-installed my Acoustic Revivie Lan Isolator that is 10/100 and the issue went away.
