I took my sons, neither of whom are HiFi nuts, to the Bristol HiFi show a few years ago where both of them were blown away by the Phantoms on display. However, we also attended a Chord demo and am afraid both were highly unimpressed at the so called variance between high and low end offerings. To compound the scepticism the comparators used were different in each case.

An old rule says that if you don't advertise your product and put it in the right light, you won't sell anything.

Based on experiences I read from others (don’t remember where I read this, I read too much!
) your etherregen will outperform the Silent Angel Bonn N8 and so if it is really a rebranded one, the Chord switch as well.
