I now have 3 weeks of playing with no whitenoise. Nothing changed on pc except from windows update, and intallation of Deezer. Had 6 hours of continues 192/96 khz with no problems. Air not default soundcard, only used by foobar2000 and deezer.
Congratulations. Continue observing and keep us posted.
We know this much: the problem is configuration specific. So, I can well believe that Windows updates, or new software can mask, or virtually eliminate the problem, because of memory allocation changes (that is, the placement of AIR in RAM). For instance, my switching from Foobar2000 to JRiver did reduce white noise occurrences for me (and yet I have no data to support the theory that JRiver is more immune to this problem than Foobar - installing and using JRiver probably just changed RAM's topology, so to speak).
Two other considerations:
1) After all, I can't conclude with certainty that AIR is faulty: perhaps, the fault lies with other Windows processes violating memory boundaries.
2) I use the BETA version of AIR, which was released for testing to several "white noise martyrs". Although I did experience white noise once, with this version, it was in conjunction with running a certain program, which had consistently caused the problem before. Once I took care never to open that program, before starting JRiver and Air, I've not experienced the white noise ever since (about two months noise-free). It's still too early to tell, but it's possible Devialet made some progress with this BETA version. @Confused observed the same, when he heavily tested it.

BETA version of AIR? Can yiu expand on this? I have had the 200 for four weeks and have had major issues with AIR white noise. I am constantly in touch with support but have made no progress at all
There are a number of folk who were in much correspondence with Devialet in the early days of the White noise issues, myself included. Much of this correspondence was collaborative, that is Devialet users trying to provide decent quality information to Devialet with the aim being to help cure the issue. (Generally sod all information provided back from Devialet though) There have been a couple of occasions where Devialet have provided beta versions of AIR to these individuals and solicited feedback. I am currently using a Beta version of AIR, which works ok for me, albeit with some workarounds.
I will leave my music on and see how long or if white noise occurs. So far, after changing to Mac Mini as my music player, whether playing Spotify or Audirvana or JRiver, no white noises appear. All using AIR. Mac Mini is wireless to router and D200 wired.
I also met this problem few days ago,and 5 time per day!!!!!very annoying!!!!!,windows,foobar, 120,ethernet.......
Is this problem solved?

xy - No, the problem is not solved, indeed your own recent experiences demonstrate this.  In fact, the issue has been around for about a year now, maybe more.  Devialet themselves have made comments that the issue effects less than 2% of users.  Judging by the posts on this forum, and Ian G's white noise survey, the actual figure must surely be much higher.

I suggest you send a query to Devialet informing them that you have the problem, and ask them when they plan to have the issue fixed.  I notice that Womaz and other's new to Devialet are also experiencing the issue.  If everyone getting the issue sends a polite query to Devialet, then this might help to shake them out of there complacency.  Please note that I am not suggesting a coordinated spam attack on Devialet's query system!  However, I think if Devialet get a steady stream of legitimate queries, particularly from new owners, then this might help getting the right information and message to Devialet.  After all, it is the new owners that are currently feeling the pain of the purchase price of that shiny new amp, and it is Devialet that has your cash!  Let them know that you are not happy!

For what it's worth, I too am running Windows / Ethernet, albeit with JRiver, so a similar set-up to yourself.  I am running the beta version of AIR which was initially very problematic, as I got white noise almost every time the PC's screensaver went into power save mode.  However, with the screensaver disabled, the beta version of AIR has worked well for me.  Don't take this as a suggestion for curing your own issues though, the white noise issue is very random and appears to be very sensitive to specific PC set-ups, which in detail vary enormously.  It's a slippery customer this white noise!  However, it's Devialet's responsibility to fix, so if you, Womaz and others new to the white noise club send the odd query to Devialet, at least it tells them you are out there and waiting!

Yes I am in contact with the support team as I am not at all happy that the 200 does not do what it is supposed to do, its a real shame as it has took the gloss off my purchase a little. The 200 is however an awesome piece of kit and AIR sounds fantastic when it works, so I am trying not to let it spoil my enjoyment too much.
I will probably purchase a streamer down the line as using my laptop is not ideal for me but after buying the 200 funds are limited for a little while. At present I am primarily using my CD player, but once you have had a network player and all of your music on tap, well you miss it.

Womaz - in your recent correspondence with Devialet have they given any indication of when this issue will be fixed, or have you just got the "our engineers are working very hard" line?

Thats exactly the line I have got. My own particular argument with them is that if they had told me about these issues I would have kept my old network player. Before I committed to the purchase of the 200 I was in touch with Support and they recommended the AIR facility as the way to progress. So I traded in all of my old gear to go with this. They never mentioned the white noise issue. I also agree that the percentage of people affected by this is way more than what they estimate.

My worry is that they may be focusing on new products, new sakes and more mass market appeal via the phantoms rather than looking to fix the issues affecting Expert line customers. I guess time will tell.

I would not swap my 200 though as it still thrills me every time I use it.
