1966, on Freak Out! In his typically satirical manner, Zappa took the teen pop of his own and reflected on the freak subculture of Los Angeles with songs like "Hungry Freaks Daddy". But even if he made fun of the conventions, you can see within the unpredictable arrangements and controlled strange tunes Zappa's gifted pop-vein. Between the Dada-istischen rebellious compositions find normal knitted love songs place. Big Grin

Dave Mason, Alone Together. Just bought this and I have no idea why I didn’t buy it when it was issued in 1971 Could have been listening to it for years, not months - just glorious, especially the final track.

1) My wife has commandeered that room to watch the television, and

2) Roon will not allow me to play the album! 

I have submitted a complaint to Roon but after an initial quick response they have gone silent. Applies to Peter Gabriel’s US as well
