Is your D200 connected via ethernet or WiFi?

Run RoonServer and AIR3 on a Mac Mini and have my current Andriod tablet to run as a remote.

You can use any devices (iPad, iPhone, Android phone, Win Tablet, PC or Mac) to be your Roon Remote.

Ah perhaps I misunderstood the question. I thought the question was in regards to RoonBridge. For remote control of playback, Gary is correct.

New Devialet 200 user here.
I am trying Air for the first time:
I have installed Air3 on my macbook air
I have also installed a beta version 2.14 on my desktop windows 10 computer

I see the little Air icon, but there is not much in settings and on both units it says 'streaming is disabled' and there is no way to change or toggle this.
I tried selecting the Devialet Air as the output device in my speakers but that didn't help either.  I get no music out of the Devialet with either.  I really don't know how to stream.  I'm trying to stream Tidal or Pandora or a service.
I must be doing something very obviously wrong as a first time user!
Help please!!

(I have configured Air on my Dev 200 SD card.)

On your Le200, when you selected Wifi as source, can you see the signal strength (fan-like logo) on the Le200's display?
If yes, then your Le200's AIR-Wifi is configured correctly. If not, then maybe your wifi router is too far from your Le200.
All these good feedback on AIR3.0 has finally won me over. A Mac Mini is on its way to me. Will configure it as AIR/RoonBridge.

So you keep the NUC and just have the Mac Mini running RoonBridge and AIR?

My question before was to have the Mac running RoonServer as I dont have Roon today, so it will be from scratch. I only have Android tablet and phone so the question was if that will work as remote control. I asume it will as Roon dont care witch system it is on so to say.

Has anyone here modified the powersupply on a Mac Mini? I found som mods on the net but what volt and amp is required for a Mac Mini?

Yes, my RoonServer will still run on the NUC. I just will have the Mac Mini installed with RoonBridge and AIR3.0 and my Roon will be able to see it as one of the networked audio output.

Mojo power supply and mods for Mac Mini is highly recommended by most. In China, TeraDAK has a similar mods for the power supply, too.
@hk Mac-Mini Specs you ordered ?

You would no longer need your laptop which you used it as a RoonBridge?.
Optimum would be have the RoonServer as the main endpoint right? Any advantage you get to have Server on different machine and Bridge different machine?

The Mac Mini is an old Late 2009 64-bit A1283 model that can support OSX 10.11. 4GB RAM and 320GB disk.

Yes, once I have the MM/AIR3.0/RoonBridge working, I can disabled my Ultrabook/AIR2.1.3/RoonBridge. Or I could have them for SQ comparison. Big Grin

RoonServer is not an endpoint. RoonBridge is. Separation of RoonServer and RoonBridge will enable each doing unique function, using less resources, and hence, theoretically should produce better SQ. And, I believe it will make AIR more reliable with lesser chance of dropout or failure. And, I can move all of them (RoonServer and RoonBridge) out of my listening environment.

Run RoonServer and AIR3 on a Mac Mini and have my current Andriod tablet to run as a remote.

You can run the remote on any supported device, which is pretty much 64 bit iOS and Android devices with enough screen res, as well as OSX, and Windows. The smaller screen-res things get the phone version as far as I'm aware. There is no GUI for Linux (so far) so that is restricted to Roon Server / Roon Bridge.

What's your current tablet? Since there are a load of these devices with varying specs, if its not the latest or a well known one, you'll probably need to have a dig in here: https://community.roonlabs.com/c/android
After a blissful weekend in the Cotswolds, I thought 'what the hell' and installed it late last night - you know, for a bit of community service.

I only had time to play 2 tracks (Roon tidal into Dirac processor, into AIR3, wired Ethernet on OS X 10.9.5). It definitely worked, and at 500ms buffer setting. Not long enough to test for reliability compared to AIR2 as I would generally get more than that with redbook before things went awry. If I get a chance and the enthusiasm I'll leave it playing one night.

I honestly didn't hear any difference in SQ between Mac/Intona, but then it was a very short test.

microRendu is finally in my hand as we speak (tiny little thing) so will get that running tonight.
