Against all the odds, AIR3b for Mac seems to have been a success for most folk. Although it forces me to bring a Mac into play, that at least has the benefits of (a) lightening the load on my NUC to run Roon, and (b) it means I can bring DRCS into play using v1.2 Mac Beta.
So here is the $64k question :
I wonder if it will still work when MacOS Sierra comes out in a couple of months ??
Any Sierra public beta-testers here ?

And if it doesn't, who's problem/fault would you consider that to be?

I wouldn't immediately say it was a fault of either party - things move on.
However, I would expect Devialet to adapt their software to accommodate the new OS within a reasonable timeframe - say a month or so.
Now, remind me - how long have we been waiting for an AIR version that runs under Windows 10 ?

Intersting point NickB! I had AIR3 working brilliantly with Roon until two days ago I foolishly decided to upgrade from Yosemite to El Crapitan. Now I'm having problems and haven't a clue how to downgrade. Who's fault is it? Well mine of course for been so stupid to upgrade to new OS. I had my first Mac in 1987 (SE30) - you would think Id've learnt by now. I hate Apples continued meddling. It used to be so simple - remember the joy of System7 anyone?
For the record I've used AIR1 through to 3 and often initially blamed the AIR software for problems only to find out that it has been my network e.g. router, switch or Devolo WiFi strength problems. Too easy to blame AIR in such a dynamic and quirky signal path

I sympathise with your frustration. However, AIR3 and Roon do work nicely for me using El Cap, so maybe it was a problem with the upgrade process itself, rather than with El Cap? Not that it solves your issue, of course.

For music server only I dont see any reason upgrade to new macOS .
So regarding Air version to support macOS .. I can wait ...
For me more impotent is that Air will have all the necessary fixes .
