Well I have 35 classical genres that divide the library into manageable chunks. There's only one album in the "Classical" genre and that's an accident, but there's no problem selecting that genre.
Sorry to change tack slightly. I'm very interested in the x100 but am slightly concerned about what to do if one of the discs failed. I would have a back up hard drive but how would you go about replacing the missing files in the Aurender?
You should manually back up externally i think onto a disk,at least what i was thinking of doing

But another thing is this usb ,when using it on a Aurender its no place for the Dialog in the future ??
Always have at least one backup somewhere.
Any digital information that does not exist in three separate physical locations - does not exist at all !!!!
I checked with Aurender Support and they confirmed that HDD replacement requires sending the unit back to the dealer for professional service

Thanks Amabrok. I imagine that in a "controlled" environment as part of an Aurender unit, a disc failure is less likely than in a PC where it is being asked to do a greater number of tasks. It is actually reassuring to know that the manufacturer has a process to deal with disc failures.
