I hope I'm posting this in the correct thread, if not, I apologize.

I am having problems with TIDAL directly from the Aurender. The thing is that when I select a song to play, it seems as if the system tries for a few seconds before discarding the song from the "Queue" on the left-hand side of the app. Basically, it never manages to play anything from TIDAL. For info, I've tried this with two different iPads and no luck so far.

On the other hand, when I stream music to the Aurender using the TIDAL app via Airplay on my iPad, there is no issue. In my case, it is as if the Aurender app is not able to connect to TIDAL and then synchronize with the Aurender. Even though I am able to browse and search TIDAL from the Aurender app.

Am I doing something wrong or have I missed something when configuring TIDAL?

Thank you in advance!

Hi ML

First off, please note that Tidal integration in Aurender is still in its early phase and still not prefect as it is with playing locally stored music or streaming from NAS.

Having said that please try the following.

- Make sure that the Conductor App on iPad is up to date
- Make sure that Aurender firmware is up to date
- Ensure that you are actually logged in to Tidal from the setting section of the app as the app will keep logging you out and will require revalidation of the account especially if you are in a region where Tidal did not officially launch yet.

Please let me know if this helps

Enjoy

Ciao Amgad,

Thanks a lot for the suggestions and sorry for my late reply, but it is being a very busy period for me at work.

Unfortunately TIDAL streaming directly from the Aurender still doesn't work. Guess I'll have to wait a bit more for its integration to work better. Maybe a territorial/country issue?

Cheers,

ML

Perhaps you should contact your dealer and/or Aurender.
I just want to be clear. Will the Aurender play anything besides ones own music? In other words can it do internet radio? I understand they are working on Tidal, do they have plans for any other services, Pandora etc?

Tidal works really well, don't know if they have plans for other online services, but I hope they'll implement Qobuz. I think the music quality from Qobuz is a bit better than Tidal.

I agree Eddye, I also belive that Qobuz sounds a tad better than Tidal

The last I checked with TV Logic the maker of Aurender they informed me that they have no plans for Qobuz. But who knows, they may change that in the future

I currently have a Auralic Aries.. I've been considering a Aurender, because I like the idea of having all the music right on the unit and it's supposed to sound just that much better. But honestly I'd like to see at least internet radio as an option and a few other streaming services.. I also use a Sonos and it will do everything.. I'd just like to have one less box and it would be great if the Aurender would add some more services, if Sonos can I wonder why not the others?

If you go on Aurender's site, under FAQ for X100 they say they are working to accomodate other streaming services than Tidal but have no firm time schedule. I read somewhere that Aurender doesnt make promises in the AIR ( pun intended ). Tidal works very well since the release after the Beta testing.
I am now the happy owner of a Aurender X100L but I have som problems with the metadata. I have transffered my entire music collection from Itunes to the Aurender but some of the CD's are now listet under "Unknown Artist". Can someone please recommend me some programs to edit the metadata?
@Haas are you on Mac or PC?? If Mac you can use XLD, if PC Dbpoweramp
