What was the system with which you demoed the W20 ?

If so, what were/are your impressions?

I just got one and it is amazing!  It replaced an Auralic Aries, that I really hate to say it just flat out smokes.. Setup was easy, build quality is great and honestly I think it's really good value.. Only $200.00 more for the "H" with internal 2tb HDD.. LOVE IT!

Inspired by positive comments on this thread I now have an Aurender N100 (+Chord Sarum TA USB cable) on trial. My initial conclusions on SQ are very positive Smile but I've had a few problems with occasional pauses of 1-2 seconds whilst playing back from a USB drive. Will report in more detail later.
I have an N100H on order. Should be here tomorrow. Was told by the dealer that the N100H was better than the more expensive X100 due to the power supply and that the N10 was "much" better than the S10 and comparable to the W20. Wanted to buy an N10 but didn't feel like waiting 2-3 months. I've also got an Aries with a Diskstation NAS and have been using that for about 7 months. Can't wait to give the N100H a try.

I opted for the H version because for $200 you can't lose and there are times when having to refresh MinimServer and then the Aries app became a chore. Having the music on the server should be better...

This is true to a great extent. If you have no plans to use the dual AES/EBU output of W20 and no plans to use an external world clock then W20 would be a waste and as such the N10 would be the best sound you can get from Aurender with a simple setup with Devialet

Has anyone heard if the new N10 is shipping now? I recall reading a June delivery anticipated.

Fwiw, I will probably put my S10 up for sale next month in case anyone may be interested.

Thx

It isn't on Aurender's web site.
I was told by the dealer I bought my N100H from that there were 50 initial units shipped in the US. Not sure the first wave number outside of the US. The first 50 in the US were to be shipping now or in a week or so. Unfortunately, all of the 50 were sold. The next batch is due in mid to late-July. I interpreted that to mean August. :-)
The N10 is available as of this month. The surprising thing is they don't have it in details on their web site. They only reference it in the comparison table at the bottom of the audiophile section.

They do have a page about it:

http://www.aurender.com/page/n10

plus this page has it in the diagram with capabilities, where its price is given too:

Thanks for the update. First time to see the N10 page on Aurender website
