I'm in Australia and I had had no word from Devialet about the new board and my Expert Pro since the email announcement back in mid July. I had also heard from my dealer that the upgrades for Australian customers would be done here in Australia starting around the middle of this month so on Saturday I sent an email to Devialet support asking when I would hear something about the arrangements. I just received this reply:

"Dear David,

Thank you for reaching out to Devialet again,

The upgrade program information will be released soon via newsletter, our team is still finalizing the test on the core infinity for this reason no new information has been shared.

Please stay tuned with us and lookout for out newsletter over the following weeks

So, all of the dates that I've seen mentioned by Devialet or here (October 17, November 4, November 7 (at least on my side of the International Date Line) have come and all except November 7 have gone. That email was time stamped a bit over 9 hours ago as I write this, so the latest news is that they are still finalising tests on the Core Infinity board and we can expect to hear something in a newsletter "over the following weeks".

If anyone is holding their breath waiting for news, I think it's time to stop holding your breath. It looks like we still have a bit of a wait ahead of us.

That is true
My Devialet dealer recieved his  130 pro demo with the new board last week.
I am so curious if Roon is working just as good or even better.

It may work a little bit better because of new Ethernet/Wifi. But the main problem is that it's not going to be Roon Ready anytime soon according to the Devialet support. According to them, Devialet R&D will be concentrating on implementing Tidal and Qobuz support on 2018 Q1-Q2.

Means Q3-Q4. At the earliest.

And all that after waiting for the new board since nearly 1,5 years now Sad

But hey, the board itself will be there this year - fortunalety Big Grin

I have never been able to understand why Devialet has to always develop their own home grown software solution as opposed to fully leveraging something like Roon. IMO they should focus on the HW side and let someone else provide the consumer facing SW piece ...
And today, ladies and gentlemen, is the 7th November, and......... nothing!

I live in Perth (Aus) and also never received any email from Devialet. Been in touch with Oceane and she has now included me in the newsletter (don't know why not already part of distribution as previously had both my D-Premiers upgraded to 250Pro's).

Sent an email to Oceane today and she replied below this afternoon (appears the dealers are getting mixed messages about being able to upgrade locally, seems not the case). All information she has given me in the past has been correct so don't want to give her any grief now over the delay as she's only the messenger (she's always been very good at getting back to me).

Cheers

John,

The advice I had from my dealer some time ago was that the upgrade would be done locally in Australia but that it would be done by a Devialet technician, not the dealer or anyone local. At this stage who knows what's going on. My dealer doesn't and he says he's getting mixed messages from the distributor, and here we have 2 Devialet staff members giving different advice within 24 hours of each other.

It seems that everyone has a different answer. I confidently predict we'll have an upgrade by Christmas but I refuse to predict by which Christmas we'll have it. I would think, however, that if our amps do have to go back to Paris that it will not be this year simply because we're getting close to Christmas and delivery and shipping times start to blow out significantly at this time of year. If it has to go to Paris I'd rather be sending mine sometime early in the new year because I would expect the time it would be away would be considerably shorter if it is shipped next year rather than between now and Christmas and getting caught up with all of the Christmas shipping and mail.
