Celts88 , I haven't upgraded yet. I've had the boxes here for months but told Devialet I would wait until they have a proper working firmware version. I'm so glad I'm a member of this forum and learned from other people's 'mistakes'. The last thing I want is to have to deal with the troubles you're going through at the moment.
I'm not the guy on the Goldie who ordered speakers from Mike Lenehan. I'm the guy south of the Goldie who just put a deposit down for a new kitchen... a man's gotta eat!
As for the configurator, when you click download, you're effectively saving too. I know sometimes it's not saving your complete config but somehow I believe if there was a save button it probably wouldn't fix that issue.
BTW, have you fixed the problem yet?
Rather than going into lots of words below is the latest sequence of events from last night:
- Deleted all files on SD Cards
- Cleared Trash Folder
- Added new config file (1 per SD Card)
- Load new config onto amps
- Only Master powering up (says on Companion 'Link Status - None')
- Re-tried 3 times and still no Companion powering up
- Noticed Beta12 loaded on both Pro’s
- Loaded RC3 onto SD Cards
- Uploaded RC3 to both Pro’s
- Restarted with both Master & Companion now powering up
- Sound only plays through the speaker connected to the Companion – Master speaker doesn’t play any sound
- Sub-Woofer doesn’t play any sound
- If I pull out trigger cable Pro’s shutdown (this is normal and should do this)
- Can cycle through all inputs without any shutdown
- When playing TV (Optical 2) it keeps playing
- Switch to Spotify, starts playing for 10 seconds then shutdowns both Pro’s and reboots back to TV (Optical 2)
- Switch to Airplay, starts playing for 10 seconds then shutdowns both Pro’s and reboots back to TV (Optical 2)
- Switch to Air, starts playing for 10 seconds then shutdowns both Pro’s and reboots back to TV (Optical 2)
- All above with RC3
- Unsure about loading Beat12 as step 3 above would only play Master
- Had enough after 1.00am last and will try again tonight
All Devialet have done so far is send me another email, and a lot of assistance that is (not):

Re: Step 3 - have you accidentally loaded the
same file onto both SD cards? i.e. two master or two companion files lead to one functional Dev - I've done it myself - more than once!
I'm sure you haven't.

Not wanting to confuse anything, but i used to use the trigger cable when i was using a coax->coax link cable. When i moved to an AES->coax cable the trigger cable link doesn't light up in the configurator so i don't use it.
In my current setup (D1000Pro using a aes->coax) i don't use the trigger at all. Maybe you could give that a go?

I tripled checked before loading the SD cards last night, so can't see it being that (good suggestion, but alas no). I'm going to do another clean install tonight, ensuring I go through Pim's summary step-by-step. If no good after that then my options are left in the hands of Devialet (oh no!!!!!).
As bad as it is my Pro's not working, I'm getting just as angry with the lack of support from Devialet. I appreciate Mathieu is probably flat out trying to sort out other people's problems, but I'm not holding my breath what with the level of advice to-date (pretty dismal). I'll just have to wait like everyone else for the next revision of software to be released (Olivier said last Wednesday they would announce a new release ASAP - 8 days later nothing).
Appreciate all the suggestions from everyone, Devialetchat really is a god send with all the great info being shared.

Celts88 Have you tried doing a basic config without the subs/preout in use? If i was you i'd be mega frustrated that it doesn't work, and some sound is better than no sound. Set a configuration for a single input in to the dev (antipodes) and only feed the ML's without subs. Also get rid og the trigger. See how that goes.
I feel your pain but once you get it up and running it's worth it. My puppies sounded the best they've ever sounded over the weekend. Next step for me is finally comparing all TAD electronics to the D1000. That will be interesting. Mind you if @
octaviars is anything to go by it could be a very costly demo!
Also, out of interest what does Mike think of the O'da, or hasn't he heard it with the ML's?

Unless Devialet have done something to the working of the trig in/out that they haven't told anyone. I should have another read of the White Paper they produced for the Core Infinity (oh wait, they haven't produced one
)

Ah ok mate, got it. You're using the internal high pass/low pass filters though for the sub out? Maybe leave all of that alone and just pass the normal full range through the ML's and skip subs for a simple troubleshooting setup..

Will give it another go tonight with full config and see what happens. The software is the issue, as I keep getting different results if I change between RC3 & Beta12. Never had any of these ‘hiccups’
before the upgrade.
If no good tonight may have to give it a rest until the weekend, the better half getting p_ssed off at me as 3.30am Wednesday & 1.00am last night
