Yesterday evening I also got my invitation to send my D440Pro back to Paris.
It is scheduled to be back in Germany until 14th of December.
(@ the confused one: my first product (D170) was purchased back in February 2014)
I’m glad to see that it seems, the way the company communicates is changing!
In the past, it was too often a shame (especially in comparison to their incredible products) how they do the marketing and the lack of open words to their customer base.
Since I have a proper Backup (2 Phantom Gold’s) I’m not too afraid if there might be some issues in the beginning and I will hopefully have some time to beta-test some new functions in my Christmas vacation for the community.

I'm not sure that you should read the date of 14 December as the fixed date for the return of the upgraded amps - you have 15 days to respond to the e-mail inviting you to log in to your Account on the Devialet site. If you wait until the final day, say the end of November, before sending off your D440, then it would be returned to you within 15 days = 14 December.
If you place your order for the core infinity upgrade today and arrange for collection tomorrow, I suggest that the amps would be returned to you 1st or 2nd December.
At least that is what I hope will be the time-frame, as I would not wish to have multiple boxes of shiny Devialet's being kicked around Europe in the last days before Christmas.
I spoke to Deviate today and was told that I do not need to press the button for Core upgrade until after Xmas, which is the earliest date I want to consider the exercise. I was also advised that it would be gone for 20 days, whether this is 20 working days I do not know.
I did the online order this morning. The form itself did not seem to be a problem, and it took only a minute or so to complete it. If Canadian amps to go Quebec I would expect the turnaround time to be quite short. During the Pro upgrade the out-the-door and back-in-the-door time was shorter than promised and that was Vancouver R/T to Paris.
Wdw and I did our Pro upgrades about the same time last year, and we received the CI upgrade notices on the same day this time. Perhaps the upgrade order is a repeat of the previous upgrade queue. Or it could be a function of the capacity of the upgrade facility or destination for different parts of the world.
Shipping my 1000 Pro tomorrow by FedEx. Devialet was quick to contact me by email after I submitted the upgrade request online, and quick to respond to my subsequent questions (they initially sent two FedEx labels, and had to revise to send a single label after I explained that my 1000 Pro came in a single box). I'll let you know when it returns.
(In the meantime, I have an Expert 250 as a backup, which is currently listed in the For Sale section!)

It was just an email discussion between me & Oceane from Devialet support. You can ask from her if you want to confirm this.
Basically she said that there might come some "issues" if I would send both amps in a single carton box.
Interesting, because when I inquired, they sent a revised single label, and instructed me to put it on the single carton box for my 1000.
I did not receive any invitation but the Core Infinity upgrade was available when I logged in my account on the Devialet website. So I just ordered it.
I just realized that I received two UPS-savers for two separate 14-kg-shipments for my D440pro (which was sent to me in one big Box back in 2016).
So, I asked for a new one to have the D's better protected on their journey.
No answer so far.
