(30-Jan-2018, 23:44)Celts88 Wrote: [ -> ]Seems us in the Southern Hemisphere are being left behind at present. I was previously advised by Devialet International Project Engineer that the CI Upgrades would commence in Australia in January. Haven't had any email from Devialet since late November, so no idea what is happening for us Expert owners down-under.

Appreciate the CI Software is still a work in progress (appears they're slowly getting there), but it would be nice to have some correspondence from Devialet - it's been 2 months and no news (Devialet with there usual indifference to their customers)
I am in the same boat - and checked with my local dealer - who told me that the upgrades will be done locally, but have been delayed a month and probably will occur end of February.

Appreciate that's delays can happen (it is Devialet Tongue ), but the lack of info is frustrating. It seems Devialet have learned nothing (again, no surprise here) and seem more interested in the PR email from Quentin.

I live in Perth, and don't have the option of the upgrade being carried out locally, therefore will need to send over East. Back in November the Devialet Engineer advised me not to send my Pro's back to France for the upgrades as the Australian option would be the quickest. Now you saying that you've been advised that the upgrade program won't commence until end of February will be 3+ months after Devialet advising local upgrade would be the quickest option (like not Shy ).

Hi Celts,

This is the latest i've received from the Devialet installer...

'Hong Kong (week of 12th Feb), before coming to Australia and New Zealand. I would expect the tour for Oceania to start one week after my Hong Kong stop, that is on the week of the 19th Feb'

So from that we know AUS/NZ will begin week of 19 Feb. Unfortunately the order for AUS/NZ is not yet confirmed, so who know's when he will get around to each one of our country/states.

Thanks for the info, would be nice for Devialet to provide this info to all their customers, but ........

I'm away week of 12th to 18th Feb so would suit me to send over my Pro's during this period so as to reduce time without, but no info being provided by Devialet means I don't have any other option than to wait.

Cheers
John

If the merry go round comes to Melbourne first and you need a hand whilst away, drop me a PM. You could always send to my place and i could get both of ours done at the same time then send back to you.
Just received my email from Judith today.

31.01 - email confirmation unit has arrived

It says within 15days it will be ready.

Jan 10 - arrived in Flers
Jan 12 - arrival email from Judith
Jan 19 - another arrival email from Judith
Jan 29 - I enquire from customer service and they advise that the upgrade is still in progress
Mines back already! picked up exactly 1 week ago Wednesday to Wednesday service. Very happy with everything.

Mate, that's real kind of you.

I was hoping Devialet would advise the dealer locations for the Australian upgrades and then I could send over my 1000Pro to the dealer (I already have the transportation boxes), and it could be there waiting for when the Devialet Upgrade Engineer arrived (hopefully near the front of the queue Smile ).

Don't think Devialet internally have a clue what's going on as last night received email to my query regarding Australian upgrades and was advised they had no info. They also said my 2 x 250Por's were not registered correctly on their website, even though it was them that updated my registration after upgrading my D-Premiers to Pro's. Also they said my serial no's on my account were incorrect in the registration, but I sent them a photo of the screens on top of my Pro's showing the serial no's are correct.

Devialet being Devialet, showing they're continuing level of 3 P's (Piss Poor Performance).

They should abide by the 7 P’s:
Prior Preparation and Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.

ok thanks, it does seem some are getting their units back very quickly so hopefully middle of next week would be ideal.
