@Dan - if you haven't already I would open a ticket on the Devialet Support site:

@Dan....this is what im afraid off....no updates no reasonable timing...not sure how the company in upstate NY physically handles these amps...it is very sensitive to scratches, etc.
My upgrade to Pro was taking forever....it took them 4 + weeks to get it back to me from France....
....This whole upgrade process does not sit well in my head ...
The I’ve heard that the American factory are employing newly redundant guys from a local fish processing factory:
Throw it on the table, take all the screws out, flip it over and shake it ‘till all the guts fall out....

Nah! Just kidding! Wink
I think you will find that they are the ones working on the software.
I sent mine to Plurison in Montréal on Nov.17 and received the e-mail to say it was shipping on Dec.1. FedEx tracks it as arriving on Tuesday. No problems, no whines, no moans. Angel
Excellent service on my 440's - turnaround completed within 2 weeks (10 working days).
Unfortunately one carton went from Koeln - Stanstead today. probably for UK delivery tomorrow (Monday 4th December), the other carton is still in France awaiting collection. I hope they will be re-united by Tuesday 5th December.

What modifications are made in the companion unit for the upgrade to Core Infinity, if this dont equipped wifi card, it must be sent along with the master unit anyway...? If I now buy a 220 Pro companion not updated, it would not work with my 220Pro Core.

I really do not understand what differences there are between Master and Companion units, with a remote I can use the companion how a stereo unit, Ethernet, USB and other imputs are available in Companion unit... ??

Thanks for reply guys..

Looking at the UPS tracking page for the return of my 440, I see at the bottom of the page a carton weight of 14kg. This is the weight of one amp, so I fear mine are coming home at different times.
What was wrong with sending and receiving both amps in one package? Devialet strike again. Angry

The weight of Master is 5,9kg, Companion 5,4kg. So a set of D440 is sent.
No Libero, when I sent them to Devialet the two individual parcels were each designated as 14KG.

Each part of the 440 is a separate carton, and my UPS tracking shows that one carton is in the UK and the other in France.

I imagine that Devialet has agreed a standard carton size and maximum weight with UPS - the OdA and 250 must weigh more than the 120 (130?). For this reason they seem to have insisted that monoblocs be sent as two separate items, rather than consolidated in the single packing crate.

I can only imagine that as Devialet released all their completed updated units on the same day, that there would , inevitably, be the risk that two cartons consigned to the same customer could be separated.
