That's terrible; you being an O'dA owner and Devialet say it's up to you to contact the dealer to get the ball rolling.

All O'dA owners should have been first cabs of the rank to have the option to upgrade (if you want to or not at this time).

It really doesn't matter much to me Celts. I'm at work in outback South Australia at the moment so sending a couple of emails just kills a bit of time. I would like to get the ball rolling so I can send the amps away on my next time off. Believe it or not but I'm a bit exited about the prospect of setting up the old D200 again. I'm planning to go back to the original firmware version when it was still a 170 without SAM and see (hear to be more precise) how big the difference between the two is.

I've just sent an email to the Australian importer (Interdyn) so I'll keep you posted on their reply.
Sent off my 220 Pro this AM. Here in US it's going to "Ryan Snyder, United Radio Syracuse NY". Based on their web site, United Radio apparently contracts out to do electronic repairs for a number of companies.

I've been in touch with Interdyn and they say that all units requiring the Core Infinity upgrade will be completed in Australia (understand your O'dA will still have to go back to France for the full upgrade from V5 to V6).

Interdyn said that there's a technician currently in Australia upgrading the dealer/showroom Pro's, and then he'll fly over to 'the Land of the Long White Cloud' to complete the upgrades over there (believe this also includes customer units, not just dealer units). The tech will then go on holiday for Xmas / New Year, then return to Aus to complete the customer Pro upgrades.

Seems info Devialet are passing out directly conflicts with this (I've been told 3 times by Devialet that the units would have to be returned to Paris).

Hope you're having fun in outback SA (your not at Olympic Dam are you)  Big Grin

Well I received three emails today:

1. Trimira, the Brisbane dealer I bought my (then) D170 from says he's in the process of working out the details.

2. Himmy from Devialet says the Od'A will go to Paris but wants to be informed about what Interdyn or Trimira will come up with.

3. Interdyn says they're in the process of working out the details. Maybe they found out between answering me and talking to you. Interestingly they also asked if I wanted to upgrade my (now) D200. I'm not sure whether that means the upgrade path is reopened but that's what it reads like.

You're lucky your unit doesn't have to fly halfway around the world even though Devialet told you 3 times....
I'm working around Moomba. Not a hell of a lot of fun to be had here.

Edit: just got another email from Interdyn with one bit of news;

Regarding the Expert 200, access to the upgrade to V6 Expert Pro internals will certainly be available again. I’ll get you the prospective timeline and pricing for this too!
Just a quick update on the packing sent by Devialet. I sent for the 'crate' which was in fact a similar cardboard box to the outer boxes I already had. But the boxes contained corner mounting foam supports which IMO work better to support the black inner box than the centre mounted original foam supports. FWIW for anyone.
My dev 220 Pro is With devialet now. So just wait about 2 weeks
Just booked by 220 in for upgrade. No England, UK or GB option in the drop-down! Have we Brexited already! [Image: undecided.gif]
Just flicking back though this thread I get the impression that the upgrade scheme is progressing rather slowly?  This might be a false impression, obviously we do not know how many Dev's have been picked up from, or even returned to, customers who do not post about such things on this forum.

Looking at the words from Quentin Sannié's blog:

We will begin installing your Core Infinity boards as a priority over the coming days and continue through to late December.

To get all boards installed by late December (basically December 24th allowing for the 'seasonal holidays'), the last one would need to be collected by about December 8th or so.  Just a guess, but I reckon this process will be running well into January 2018.

From a purely selfish point of view, this would suit me fine.  Early January just happens to be a splendid time for me to send my amp back, far more convenient than any time between now and Christmas.  Keen as I am to try the new OS Board, I check my emails each day hoping for nothing from Devialet, and so far they are delivering nicely! Shy
Did anyone get an update from Devialet with a confirmation of the arrivial? I got a notification from UPS but not from Devialet.
