I got the mail too and went to their logbook but I cannot see anywhere mention of Roon. So is airPlay the new AIR? Apple in his presentation didn't mention 192kHz for AirPlay2 but only 48kHz. It could be that it has the capacity of going up to 192 but Apple hasn't broadcast, but would be nice to have a bit more info.

Roon/Air integration with Tidal will stay on top.
Devialet does not talk about the Audinate chip so we do not know how that will be used. And tree ASRC's. I wonder what the two extra will be used for?

Actually I would have been much happier to see Qobuz integration on launch. Great music choice and fantastic SQ. Tidal is already integrated into Roon which we obviously get through AIR.
UPnP feels a bit 2014...

you are assuming that AIR will still exist but looking at the logbook there is no mention of AIR. And the mail they sent to Petrik

seems to go in the direction of substituting AIR with Airplay even through Roon.
Does that mean hi res files will be downscale to 48Khz by Airplay?what is the purpose of CI board? Downgrade or upgrade?
