I have to assume on the cryptic clues inside your email from Devialet that the Core Infinity is rather like the innards of my AV amp which is bundled with all sorts of features such as AirPlay, Spotify, and all of the various file and surround sound capabilities. Just as he AV amp is upgradable, at least in software terms, I assume Core Infinity will house all sorts of features and capabilities. Obviously some of these features e.g. Tidal do not appear to be here yet. I am really hoping that configuration of the Pro will be resident on that board and make the SD card redundant. In theory the words 'core' and 'infinity' would therefore make lots of sense. Let's hope it fulfils that potential.
Devialet technician told me on the phone it wouldn't change (that was 3 days ago). Surprised at that, but have to take his word for it (will have to wait see what happens).
Thing is currently the SD card is needed. Next step it will be done via web-browser (web-server running on the Devialet)

I asked him about web server and he said no plans to change. Not saying you're wrong, only passing on what I was told (Devialet info keeps changing so no way of telling nowadays what is correct).
I actually prefer not to have a web-brouser function only for specific streaming services to reduce the vulnerability of hacking viruses etc. so I prefer a SD card for my configs.

as Markush was trailing yesterday, there is an update on the Core Infinity Log. Apparently the new OS is now available.
" Here we go. Devialet OS 2.1 Release Candidate has landed. You may download it from your member's account on our website.
The first Expert Pros with Core infinity will be leaving our workshops today, loaded with firmware 11.5.18 and DOS 2.1 RC. As announced by Quentin earlier, this release features Air and UPnP.
A 2.2 Beta release, featuring AirPlay® and Spotify® is under validation and will be available soon for test-only purposes upon entry of our beta program.
This is the beginning of a new journey."

Why is Devialet giving away free Innuos Zenith streamers now with the purchase of an Expert amp? I sold my Devialet half a year ago but thought the new streamer board would solve all issues. And now they’re giving away third party servers?

I have never heard of this before. Do you have any links for more information?
The new streamer board doesn't of course have all possible features, like for example you cannot save your music files on it, you cannot rip your CDs with it, or run the Roon Server. So it makes sense using something like Innuos with Devialet.
Don’t have a link but it would be a zenmini mk2 with all models except the 1000 pro which would get the zenith mk2
