Arjan,

my 220 was picked up from my home near London on Monday lunch time and according to UPS, delivered to Devialet just under 24 hours later. There has been no confirmation from Devialet. Looking at the orders section of my account on the Devialet website, the order status still shows " to _prepare", just as it has done from the start.

Perhaps they are knee deep in units awaiting the upgrade and are too busy to communicate. Personally, I would prefer them to spend their time doing the upgrade, rather than talking about it.

Looking at the words from Quentin Sannié's blog:

We will begin installing your Core Infinity boards as a priority over the coming days and continue through to late December.

To get all boards installed by late December (basically December 24th allowing for the 'seasonal holidays'), the last one would need to be collected by about December 8th or so.  Just a guess, but I reckon this process will be running well into January 2018.

From a purely selfish point of view, this would suit me fine.  Early January just happens to be a splendid time for me to send my amp back, far more convenient than any time between now and Christmas.  Keen as I am to try the new OS Board, I check my emails each day hoping for nothing from Devialet, and so far they are delivering nicely! Shy

Not too sure about slowly, but I received my “invite to upgrade” e-mail middle of last week, had shipping boxes delivered by UPS on Tuesday this week, and they have just this minute been collected, complete with my D1000 pro, for onward shipping to Devialet in France. Not too sure how many others have also shipped their “boxes”, but I cannot fault Devialet, so far, in their management of the process. Whether I receive my amps back before Christmas remains to be seen, but as we will be “out and about” for a few weeks before Christmas, and away over Christmas and New Year, I am not too worried. What concerns me more is that the alpha software referred to by markush is updated to at least beta, and that Roon/AIR is fixed and running smoothly. I am quite excited by the initial feedback from marcush on the SQ of the new CI boards.

Good God, my Amps have only been gone a few minutes and I am missing them already  Tongue Big Grin Angel.

To be clear, by 'slowly' I was specifically referring to the low number of people that seam to have had the upgrade notification email so far, not the actual speed of the process once notified.  As for the software, this will be progressing at feaverish pace, no doubt. Shy

Yes, follow your meaning, but what is even more unclear is the process being used to “call forward” people for the upgrade! One assumed that Od’A owners would be first, and we do know of a few members of this forum who have sent off their Amps - Guillaume and F1Eng for eg, but this Od’A call off is far from clear when it comes to regional distribution, for eg it would appear that Australasian countries, and the USA would possibly be handled “locally”. After the Od’A all is very hazy, after all I have a D1000 and you also have a D 1000, I have had an e-mail but you seemingly haven’t!

David
No message here, and no link on the website, even though my O d'A is correctly listed.

Not that I am complaining -I want to know that AIR still works before I send it away Wink
For what it's worth, I did talk with someone at Devialet about a ticket I had logged. I did ask about the upgrade process and he alluded that the CI board upgrades are initially focused on those that upgraded from Expert to Expert Pro (which I did not) and that those that bought new Expert Pros would be upgraded in the second wave. As to when that might be, he could not say.

Personally, I'm very happy to keep my system through the holidays before sending it in.
Looks like they are following this forum. Got a confirmation mail from Judith. Expert pro has landed and will be returned in max 15 working days
Also got email from Judith
Arjan,

Do you know that the 15 days are 'working days' rather than a translation of 'quinze jours' - which would be an english fortnight or two weeks?

Mine also well arrived today, but UPS delivered it on Friday 17th November.
