Dont understand why Devialet choose to announce during Munich High End days (5th (today), 6th, 7th and 8th). How did we come to know that the announcements will be made during High-End Expo?. Devialet is not attending the High End Expo, so they can announce anytime. Before, during or after Munic High End expo.
Where will they announce ? on website or somewhere close to High End venue with some loud speakers
?. I m in midst of changing me Le120 to some other SS-Amp, or trade Le120 to Le200. My contact told me to wait until the announcements are made.
So, waiting ... Whatever !

This year there is no date when they are showing their new stuff, last year they were all about München and the new firmware V8.
This seems a bit strange to me not atending the biggest show in the world and showing of there stuff.
I still like my D400 and it sounds really good but the lack of information and some other strange decisions from Devialet is bugging me. Less focus on Phantom and more on the Expert models would be nice.

Was that ANote that said that? As I understand it, lowering the power allows more of the Class A character to come through. Some users with horns/high efficiency speakers dial the D200 down to 30W.
Also, I am assuming that your Od'A is fully run in. Guillaume has reported an appreciable difference in sound between the demo unit and new units.
At AVI, I have heard significant differences between 2 D200 units. The newish one was thin, dry and quite unlistenable. The run-in unit (by a couple of months) was far better. Both were driving Raidho D2 speakers.
KT from AN told me so before he went to Paris to eat caviar. Let me running in the Od'A for a longer period. Or I might just get used to the sound.

I don't think we did, I think it was just various people guestimating.
But it stands to reason if they were
planning to announce at the start of Munich, we should definitely be hearing from them this year. Well, maybe...
I think they would announce on their own, like Apple does their announcements. Big Bang Theory kinda stuff

Maybe the dealers event was a rehearsal run for the on-stage dancers.
