There's a list of eleven changes, which looks like a top to bottom upgrade, but no mention of Air (which I have cursed and abandoned years ago) and no mention of pricing.

Thanks, but we knew this already. My educated guess:

120 --> 200: 3490 euro
200 upgrade: 3490 euro
400 upgrade: 5990 euro
800 upgrade: 7990 euro
OdA: free upgrade

This is without the advantageous conditions (whatever that might be)
To me, $ 3,490 from 200 to 200 pro (yes, it is an identity crisis) is not attractive. And a 200 pro since new has a better re-sale value, just in case, than that came from upgrade path.

New pricing for the 200 would be 8490 euro instead of 6990 which might relieve the pain somewhat when upgrading, but it's a lot of money. All depends on the upgrade in sound quality/functionality you're getting in the end i think.

There has been talk by some about the D-Premier not being given the option to upgrade, so IDValete's comment is relevant (just like you missed the option from your list for a D-Premier upgrade)  Big Grin

I don't see what i've missed there, didn't mean to be offensive though. Looks like the email everyone got, not specific to D-premier owners. In the drop down menu you have the option to choose the D-premier so i think there will be an upgrade for the D-premier. Also for the 250 which i haven't listed here. Prices for these have not been communicated i think, 120/200/400/800 have had their main focus of attention since the previous upgrade of the models. I suspect the 250 will upgrade for around 4500 euro's, d-premier the same amount or slightly more.

No offence taken, and no offence intended (hence the Big Grin )

Hope everyone gets an option from the upgrades that's meet's there expectations
@JohnWyatt34:

120 new with 15% discount is about 4250 Euro + upgrade to 200 for 3490 Euro would be the cheapest update getting newest 200 = 7740 Euro correct?

First of all, i would suggest not to make any decisions regarding buying/upgrading until Devialet announces the prices of the new models/upgrades. I think my source is reliable but you never know whether the Devialet team will change their strategy in the end.

Second, if these prices are correct i think you're right. This would be the most cost-effective way to get your model up to le200 specs. However, for me, the lower resale value of an upgraded 120 compared to a new 200 and the hassle of sending it back to France wouldn't justify the (small) price difference.

John
6k to upgrade my 400 is a NO GO.... this is too close for what I have paid....

If I would spend the 6k,I would put it in the budget to upgrade my B&W 804 Diamond to the new B&W 803 D3.

If you have a source for these prices, it seems odd that the 800 and the 400 have different prices as they have exactly the same boards in them, the premium new is for the more expensive case.
