From the information that is tricking out of Devialet HQ plus what we already have today in the shape of the O d'A, I would suggest that what we are seeing here is a major evolution of the ADH amplifier, something that hasn't happened since the launch of the D Premier.

You are probably right as they dont say anything about the streaming function in the mail they sent out.
Maybe really step 2 as my information was a second step upgrade with more information concerning the streaming function in september earliest.

Hopefully!!!

I will definitively wait and do no upgrade without additional internal streaming function.
they may have their own logic regarding streaming and not working with Roon, but DCS (AND JUST ABOUT EVERYONE ELSE) GOES ROON READY
additionally, we would like to see a support for external clock?..

I myself do not want external clock. Made it simple and one box only or less boxes as far as possible are the best.
I also agree that it makes sense to make aes-to-aes for master to companion as many reported that aes/ebu sounds better but dealing with custom cords is non-sense..
No update on the DAC?
I hope they fix the shoddy Ethernet situation.

Hello,

Wondering what you mean by "shoddy".......I've just recently hard wired Ethernet and all appears to be working reasonably well.  Is there an issue that I am not aware of?

Cheers,
Warren

Ethernet wi-fi and cable has always worked perfectly for me too Smile

Also, plenty of major audio manufacturers do not support Roon e.g. Naim, Linn...
I'm quite certain @rwjr44 means "Air". If Air 3.0 beta for OSX is a sign it's most likely driver related only and doesn't require a hardware update.

"It works perfectly for me" doesn't mean 2.x isn't broken it just means you didn't stream allot of high bitrate content. 2.x version of Air is ABSOLUTELY broken!
