It's been a long time since last firmware update happened in last December which was only to include O'dA in configurator and 'prevent crosstalk' something like that  and nothing else.

Hope the firmware update is more than just SAM. My speakers don't have SAM option so no good for me (probably the same for a few other people also).

Same here!.
From what I heard one thing is: making SPARK finally compatible with Expert line

Compatibility in what way?

If they intend to do that via a Dialog connected to USB I think that is something most Expert owners will be disappointed about......I bought a Sonore microRendu instead and I bet soundwise that is so much better than a Dialog, and I can use ROON if I want to.
Maybe a new AIR card for the Expert amps? Where Spark can be used directly... I have also ordered a microRendu for use with my 250. Roon has promised convolution support in a future version. Until then I have lots of choices with the microRendu like LMS with BrutefirDRC or UPnP server of JRiver. Even HQplayer.
If Devialet had fixed AIR when they should, more than a year ago, and otherwise kept their promises I'd probably use AIR today. Now I do not care much what Devialet does unless they destroy the remaining strength of the Expert amps; the sound quality.
Global dealers get-together in Paris was over I'm surprised why no announcement made yet.

I can confirm that this is the case. NDAs have been signed and no one is saying a word...
